Hi zero_cool, I tried over 20 times and tried different ways which mentioned by the links posted in this thread. And I followed the link (http://thedarkotaku.tripod.com/pandora.htm) you posted here over 5 times.

I've no problem in making the Pandora battery (opened the original battery and cut the pin according to the pic in Step 1 & 2. Then I followed Step 3, downloaded the Total newbie installer package and ran it. After follow through the whole process (I tried all 4 options), I switched off & turned on my PSP with my Pandora battery & the memory stick prepared by the newbie package in my PSP. But the Pandora's menu didn't appear. Will it because the Pandora battery didn't work on the new PSP (PSP- 2001)? Or will it because my original battery can't made to a Pandora battery since I saw a news from another site mentioned Sony did something to their new battery to prevent people made it become Pandora battery. Please help. Thanks. Have a nice day.

BTW, PM means send you a message to you via MSN here?

Default Can any psp be downgraded?

I wanted to buy a PSP, but I wasn't sure which version I need to buy. Are there any versions that are not downgradeable? What about the slim version? To mod your PSP do you have to have a mod chip or can you do it all through software?
