Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president David Reeves has denied reports that the company's developing a next generation PSP. While Sony recently told us that it doesn't "comment on rumour and speculation" following reports that a PSP successor was in the works, the company's Euro boss has come out and completely denied anything of the sort. "... There are currently no plans for a PSP2," Reeves told MCV. "I go to Tokyo quite a lot and no one has referred to it - I think they have their hands full at the moment. "We just launched the PSP-3000 so we are still focused on this generation of the platform," Reeves added. The exec also acknowledged that the PSP's "weakness" is its software, as developers have opted to take their titles to other platforms first.
