Thread: Homebrew for all psp's, even 3.50!!!

You read the title right...An exploit has just been found for all firmware psp's up to 3.50...I have to admit, I did not believe that an exploit would be found this soon..Thanks to developers " Archaemic" and "Noobz" , you can now enjoy the very first piece of homebrew for any firmware psp up to 3.50...Right now it is just a simple text and graphic that appears on your screen, but this will soon lead to a homebrew enabler, and downgrader, probably within the next day or two..So all you psp owners out there with 3.10 and higher firmware, that thought you were all doomed, you will now be jumping for joy...Link below to "illuminati exploit"...HaXaLoT..

Man..I just bought my PSP yesterday I had no idea Emulating it would be this complicated..and to top it off My version is 3.60... Im doomed right?

Unfortunately right now you are doomed...Only psp's up to 3.50 can downgrade, and use homebrew...Nothing is being worked on at this time for any exploit for firmware above 3.50 either..It could be several months before something is found for 3.60...All I can tell you is, Do not update any further, the more you update, the longer it will be until you can play homebrew and emulators...HaXaLoT

Hello i currently have a psp of version 3.01 and is there any homebrew enabler for psp version 3.01 or i just have to downgrade it to play homebrew(iso,cso)?

you can use the Homebrew Enabler for 3.03, but I always suggest downgrading to 1.5, then upgrading to custom firmware if you are wanting to run iso, or cso files, for the simple fact that iso, and cso files can be run directly with custom firmware, if you are running the homebrew enabler, then you also have to run iso loaders, which make the process more complex, and compatibility will not be as good...Here is a link to the 3.03 HEN program if that is what you still want to do....HaXaLoT.. P.S. you must first update to 3.03 in order for this to work...
