I really liked the Sims. I have it for both my PS2 and my PC. I prefer to paly on my computer, just because there are so many more options. I also like all the expansion packs for the computer. I think that EA Games is focusing on the PC version, that's why they are releasing so many expansion packs for The Sims 2.

Yeah the PC game is definitely much better to play. But having it on ps2 is still good for those who can'tplay it on a pc. Although they need to add options in the ps2 game.

I have tried to play the sims on PS2 but it just didn't feel right. I'm so used to it on the Pc that it felt like I was cheating to load it up and play a dirty little session on the PS2. It's a good game though, I guess it just depends on which console you feel in love with it first! |

I just feel like the PS2 version is so limited, which it's supposed to be. I like the freedom you have on the PC version, so I tend to just play that one and forget about the other.

I agree if you do have time to spent in pc then it is better off playing it in a pc but of yopu want to play it like even when you are lying around and the control is still in just a hand then console would be an option.

It just doesn't work right on the console, but if it let you have more than one floor, more objects, and a large handful of other features from the PC versions, like dating or going on vacation, it would be a much better game. The best thing it has over the original sims is that there are more ways to customise your sim, in the PC version, it was head, body. Thats it. |

In the new PC version of the Sims 2, there are a lot more customizable features. I think that you probably only played the first game. You can even download more features, but there's already enough so that you don't need to do this.
