A friend of mine just told me that you can play online using your PS 2 game console. Is this true? If so, what games can you play online? What is your experience playing online on this console?

Yes you can, you need an adapter for it. Playing online is pretty fun if enough people still play the game. If you want a good online game, get Resident Evil Outbreak. Don't get the sequel because what I hear, its servers have been discontinued. |

Ok, so it’s possible, I hope I can find that version of the game right here in our place. I haven't tried using my PS2 to play online games.

Its true, and yes, like ddc said, you need a Sony Network Adapter. Pretty cheap now, since its been out for years. But also, alot of games online servers have been cut, since the newer versions of the games have come out and noone is online anymore for most games.

I wonder if I can use those pirated versions because they are a lot cheaper than the real one. We have lots of those on our country; you can see one almost anywhere you look. I can sure save a lot of money if I will be just buy a pirated one.

Alot of gamers have used pirated games to play online, but have been bnned for doing so. Using pirated games to play online is illegal and many xbox online members have been banned for playing pirated games and games on modchips. I recommend you dont try this.

I think that you’re saying the truth because I can’t imagine a game maker that will accept a pirated game on his server. Probably they will just block your IP. This has to the reason why I don’t hear someone playing a pirated version on an online game. | |
