Just for the fun of it! I don't get scared of anything but just want to know which Resident Evil game do you think is most scary? I think Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is the most scary in the series.

Yup, having to put up with that fugly Nemesis every 5 mins is a right terror, but the second is the scariest for me, you know that licker? Yeah.

If you want scary, pick up Alien vs Predator 2 and play as the Marines.

I thought number 2 was scary, but then I played Resident Evil 4 the other day with the lights off in my house, and I was totally freaked out. For me it was the scariest.

I've played all from RE 1 to RE 4, for me all of it has some scenes in the game that I would consider to be really scary if you’re playing alone.

I haven't been scared of Resident Evil since elementary school. No seriously, I'd be scared to play it because I knew something was going to come out and shock the hell out of me. That is also why I only played Silent Hill once. If by scared you mean excited because you are being chased by zombies and your only weapon is a pipe, then Outbreak is the scariest.

Resident Evil 4 is the best of them all, and twice as scary as all of them put together. The part that scared me the most in RE4 was the part where your just walking out of this house to a backyard where at the corner of the road a zombie with a bag over his head turns on his roaring chainsaw and comes after you.

i played RE 3 and RE 4,
for me RE 3 is more scary, coz when i meet Nemesis, something i hate usually hapen -> game over.

I have only played 1 and 2 so my choice is only between the two. I will go for resident evil 2 since it got nemesis on it and I was so scared when nemesis was after me. Maybe if I have played the other two releases then I will have more choices on the subject.

For some reason I didn't find 2 to be all that scary. 3 on the other hand freaked me out completely. I like to play games in the dark with headphones on and I kept taking them off thinking that something was in the house with me.
