I dunno bout you, but there is some game music that is just off the chain. The Medal of Honor series has some great music, and i've found Final Fantasy to be really good too. At least, that's as far as specially composed music. Obviously GTA and some others have some good compilations, but can you tell of some good soundtracks that were specially made for the game?

I think that one of the best sound track from a PS games comes from Tekken series. I believe that the soundtracks are part of what has made this game popular. I like all of their soundtracks.

My best is "Angel of Darkness" from the 6th Lara Croft PS2 game, I just love it! Soundtracks make a huge difference on the sale of the game, just like the trailer of the movie!

The Final Fantasy series has some really nice tracks, Uematsu can make music fit to any scene you can imagine, and the soundtrack for Star Ocean is just beautiful as well.

Some have quality all over the place, like the SaGa games, some of the tracks are just beautiful, but the rest are rather bland.
