Why in the Hell are you buying the same game every year? It's a fricken FOOTBALL game! They're ALL THE SAME!! Every last one of them and they all have the same bastard Referee that gets a nice bribe at the start of every match!

Alright rant over, but seriously, I don't see the appeal, they just update a few numbers, improve the AI and it can still be faked out and they still have to cheat to win.

You took the words right out of my mouth. There is really not a damn bit of difference that would make the next game out any better than the others. Yeah, ok, the line up may change a bit, but who cares? Stop wasting your money.

Well then why the hell do you buy same FIFA game every year? Like soccer there are a lot of football fans out there too who adores the tiny little enhancements which you haters are not able to see.

I hate soccer even more than football. Besides, same players, same stats, same fields. I prefer my games to be different with every incarnation. It's just getting milked and that's it.

That happens in every sports game? NBA Live, Fifa, Etc.. but they do make some improvements though and put up the current player list. although the same game i agree. They should have just released a mod or a plug in that could be used or downloaded in there site.

yeah i agree madden is madden but if you are fan you will for sure buy the newest version all them time but if you are just in for play then i would suggest stick t what you have right now that save the money.

I don't think you can really compare Fifa and Madden, because Fifa has more differences in the game every year. For instance, in Madden there is the same teams every year. In Fifa though, every year there are promotions and relegations, as well as new kits with big differences.

With Madden most of the differences are trades which you can do yourself. There are very few graphical enhancements unless you skip a year.

I dont see why not buy the new copy each year of any sports franchise. Every year, when the new version releases, new players are updated, online features, AI is improved quite a bit, graphics slightly change, control is improved etc. There are many changes, including new modes, new players, new online capabilities maybe, all of these little things add up. Hardcore sports fans of the Madden series such as myself get the new versions for many reasons.
