Default Survival Horror Games!

They're only one of the best genres, at least for me. These types of games include Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Clock Tower, Fatal Frame, etc. People are in peril, and solving puzzles are the key to winning the gme and surviving the night in places where everyone and everything is after you.

Do you have any certain favorites?

Like I've already mentioned, the Clock Tower games and Haunting Ground were my favorites. I really want to play one of the Fatal Frame games though, but it looks utterly freakish.

And too right it is, I crapped my pants on more than one occasion by looking through the camera and a ghost is right there in my face. It's really scary, well worth getting.

I quite like Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark. I actually downloaded the original Alone in the Dark once, hardly scary, but back then, it was revolutionary in every aspect.

What's Alone in the Dark about? I never heard of that. It's funny really, I easily get freaked at horror movies, but I seem to manage horror games pretty well.

I like the ones though that have someone or something there to help you though, like Rule of Rose and Haunting Ground. It lessens the scariness to have a canine by your side and protecting you, but I like it that way :P

Those games about surviving the night give me the creeps and I have never played it before. I’m not thinking of even playing them.

My nephew likes this games, I watched him whenever he plays the game.

Fatal frame is my favorite survival horror series, Silent Hill takes 2nd and the rest just comes next. i've played alone in the dark for ps1 but that was aeons ago. i think it had 2 disks, 1 for a girl character and another for a boy. it was one game that optimized ps1's power before but gamers now would probably laugh at the graphics if they were to play it as we are now used to extreme Highdef graphics compared to the polygons before.
