Thread: how long will you change ps2 -> ps3

a.) for the prices to go down
b.) and for the 3rd PS3 version because that’s usually just about when they get things just about stable

I’m having trouble coming to terms with the fact that I’d probably be the last person in the world to get to play FFXIII, though.

But as long as mine works, I’m gonna hang on to it. And when it breaks down (or if I run out of games to play on it already. Game developers, do be kind!) I guess I’ll just go back to….life?

I say if you have the money, go for it. The ps3 can play ps2 games so theres no other reason not to. But thats just my opinion.

I'm going to wait until the price goes down. That is one heck of a lot of money, and I have college tuition to be paying for rather than spend it on a game system. I'm also waiting until they have more games so that when I do buy it, it'll be well worth the wait.

For me, I'll shift to PS3 If I don't have any other choice but to buy one, like when production of games for PS2 stopped, support for the PS2 is no longer available, and when people stops playing PS2.

NEBAR!! The PS3 is an over-priced, over-polygoned, over-hyped, screw-up. Sony keeps messing it up every month, from screwing with the packages and taking out certain features, why can't we just have one standard system with a small hard drive. I mean; who is going to use 40gb?

I'll stick with the PS2 until it's sorted out. The whole thing is just too complicated just now.

Ha, I'm on the same plan...Going to school and buying $500 game systems dont really mix well..

The new $400 price tag for the 40gig is a little tempting though. hehe

I’m thinking just the same. I’ll be waiting until the price goes down. I remember when they introduced PS 2. At first the price was too much to bare so most of the gamers can’t buy it, then their prices goes down. I guess this will happen to PS3.

I check it out although the prize goes down a bit it is still high for me? might wait a couple of months or wait for a used one for me to buy it. PS3 will be the game console to be with in right now.

i have sold my ps2 few month ago and i will wait until i get 42 credits plus 7days to get PS 3.
