Default How To Backup Wii Games - Easy Step by Step Tutorial

In this segment of post, I am going to lay out to you - How to Backup to Backup Wii games.
Before we begin, I just want to highlight to everyone that there are various ways and methods on how to go about backing up wii games. Some will be easier, some a bit more complex, some takes longer time, some may work for others and may not for the rest.

As starter, this is one of the many ways to do it and hopefully would give a fair bit of understanding and idea for some that are still finding ways on how to backup wii games.

    Step 1:-
For maximum result as starter, I would suggest you start gathering this list of equipment and software beforehand.
This equipment and methods had been working fairly fine for me when I initially started learning how to backup Wii games.
    - LG DVD Drivers series – any of the following [ It works the best for me ]
    o LG 8164b
    o LG 8163b
    o LG 8162b
    o LG 8161b
    - Raw Dump 2.0 [ software application ]
    - .net Framework 2.0 [ software application ]
    - Winrar or any form of zipping tools [ software application ]

    Step 2:-
Upon completion, extract the Rawdump.rar into your computer. This will create a folder title Rawdump2.0 on your desktop [otherwise specified ]

    Step 3:-
When that’s done, insert your Wii original game disc into your LG DVD Drive [otherwise specified]. Open up Rawdump2.0 folder and select Rawdump2.0.exe.

    Step 4:-
An application as followed will launch. Simply click on the “start dump” and upon completion, you will notice a file called “gameimage.iso” placed into the same directory as Rawdump.exe folder.

NOTE : All Dumped Wii games[ GameImage.iso ] Have the Same File Size and it Should Indicate an Amount of 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes).
If it does not show as such, most probably, the process wasn’t successful to which could either be the results of using an incompatible DVD drive or a poor gaming software therefore you would have to try dumping It again

    Step 5:-
Open up Nero, cancel away from the create new DVD/CD dialog. Once exited from the dialog, Go to Recorder>Burn Image

    Step 6:-
You will be ask to locate the Img File which will be located In the Rawdump2.0 folder.
Select the game that you have raw dump and click open.
An option as show below will be prompted to you. Make sure to select a relatively slow burn speed at first to attempt to prevent Disc Read Errors.
A Speed of 4X and below is recommended As Such.

Thank You – I Hope These Step-By-Step Tutorial Has Been Helpful.
