Hello,
Well I'm doing fine. I see that you are a new member too. I also just joined 2 days ago. I seem to be having trouble with downloading. I tryed to download Ravin Rabbit the game for my wii and 24 hours later it had only downloaded 25% of it. Are you having the same problems? I don't know if this is normal or not. Seems like a long time to be downloading.

Unhappy

Hello,

I downloaded two different copies of Wii Zelda and extract the rar's to a ISO.

Burned the ISO with ImgBurn and when I try to play it I get an error :

Unable to read disk, please consult Wii manual for explanation.

I have a LG DVD +- RW that I bought a few days ago.

My friend let me borrow some copied Wii dvd's and all those I was able to burn successfully and play, just the downloaded Zelda will NOT play.

I have burned about 4-5 dvds with Zelda iso and they all say the same thing.

The nfo file says:

..rELEASE nOTES!
1. Unrar
2. Burn

So it doesnt seem like I have to do anything else.

Any advise?

I am a little confused. I was under the understanding that you would be able to back up your games without requiring a mod chip. Was I misled?

it might just be that iso file. Try downloading a new one and try it.

I'm trying to figure that out myself.I have a G5, too, and a MacBook. The g5 is the old processor, and the macbook intel, but I don't think it's supposed to make a difference here. the downloads take forever, but the worst part is I can't seem to get the burned game to work. I get this strange "Exception (DSI)" message followed by a complicated set of code. I read it another blog that it was a hack.ini problem, whatever that is(I'm a total novice here). A friend put in the SD card along with homebrew. it works for original discs, though you have to pull the plug to shut off the power.I'm sure all this isn't normal but I don't know what to do

Can someone formulate a comprehensive reply? The wii says it cant read the disk, what is the problem. Do you need a loader. Which one? Is it in homebrew browser. What if your on mac? Is there a one stop shop for info because it looks like alot of us are lost. We get how to extract and burn, thats easy. What do you do or what is the problem if it dosent work. Who is the pro around here?????

just right click one of those small files and click unzip or extract, it'll automatically extract and compile all those little files into one big iso. After that Im lost too. I burned the disc and the wii says it cant read the disc. Im gettin aggrivated. Cant anyone give us a good answer? These forums are so confusing.
