We are considering purchasing a wii in the near future. However, every time we go to the GameStop they never seem to have any in stock. Where is the best place to go purchase one? It will probably be a few months before we can buy one.

I agree with Wii modder, just keep constantly calling up on local electronics and gaming retailers. Eventually, somewhere will get a shipment in and sometimes some stores will even hold one for you for a few hours.

It took my boyfriend and I 3 months to get a wii, it just so happen that he was at walmart and he saw that there was one available. When you do have the money for it, I suggest calling every store that you can think of...when you do find one tell them to put it on hold for like a half hour to let you get to the store...if they don't allow that offer to pay for it over the phone using your credit card so then you can just go in and pick it up. It took my friend and I 3 hours of calling stores within a 1 hour distance of where we live to find a wii...good luck!
Target seems to always have them in stock when I go in there. Also, is where I got mine and my brother's Wiis a month after they came out.
