If it says patch with Wiu1.1 that means you have to patch if your Wii is not PAL. Mario Galaxy is a PAL game and you have a JAP set so you will have to use Wiu1.1 to patch it with NTSC/JAP.

Cool! Thanks for clarifying. Now for the last question. I had posted on the thread which I hope you may help me with it. I'm still downloading the game hence I am not sure how it will turn out.

I'm not sure but probably not because the drive will not be able to read the game disk.

so i got a PAL version of Mario Party 8 and i cant get it to work. it recognizes the game, but when i click START it dies. there was a 2.2 patch that i removed with Wiu 1.1.

ive tried burning 4x and 8x on verbatim dvd+r

i have even tried leaving it as PAL

anyone else having this problem?

Thanks. I will give it a try once I got the game in my comp.

Usually it should work for PAL game on JAP console after I patch it with Wiu1.1.

As for the game I asked in the other thread, I shall give it a try and hope it works. What should I do as not to get it brick?

Do you mean, once you put in the game how do you get it not to brick. If so:
Once the game is loading and it tells you to upgrade DON'T UPGRADE!!! Thats all i no.

either way i think i have to remove the update because it has 2.2E or something.

am i doing this right? ive had success with plenty of games
