Fun fact, XBOX > GAMECUBE > PS2.
That's in terms of overall power/graphic quality. The Gamecube was a very smooth system, no polygons. So it did do something very different.
Now, IMO, the Gamecube was the best, Xbox was completely lame.
PS2 rivaled with the Xbox only because they share many of the same 3rd party and well, they had the same crap so that was lame.
Nintendo always had a very strong First Party, something PS2 and Xbox really never had, that's not to say they didn't have good exclusives.
I only liked the PS2 because it had a few exclusives I really wanted...
Anyways, I loved the Gamecube above all others and it ultimately lead me into buying a Wii, I've been a Nintendo Fanboy for ages however I do slip into Sony merchandise every now and then.
There isn't a single game in my library that I didn't like. (Excluding Rogue Squadron 2, I never really played it even though I loved the first Rogue Squadron for the N64, maybe I should get back to that...)
Let us go together.
There isn't anything that I hate about it is that, there weren't that many good games. And the Wii was made to be an improved Gamecube.
I used to hate that it wouldn't play dvds while the other major consoles at the time did. Other than that, there isnt really anything i dislike about the Cube. It is a funny little console that has held up for years without any problems.
The lack of good games. They are there, but not enough of them.
I like GameCube because game developers guve it kiddy games because its Nintendo, so stuff like gTA isnt available. So GameCube is a huge change from other systems. The fact that its a cube is odd, I mean yeah the name says it all, but a box shaped console is odd. The controllers I have to say are great, the controllers are fun and different.
Any questions on videogames? Any general questions you might have? Feel free to ask me. I am online most of my time and I will get an answer for you A.S.A.P.
I specialize in technical support on the following systems:
1. PSP Slim and PSP 1000
2. Playstation 3
3. Playstation 2
4. GameCube
5. Wii
6. Xbox
7. Xbox 360
Well I disagree that the Nintendo Wii was a better option, especially since alot of people just took it back after other console prices dropped and they found out it was a horrible system.
Nintendo GameCube is just awesome. It doesn't need to keep up with other game consoles and I'm not dissing PS2 because I LOVED it's game selection and I've always hated Xbox so all I'm really saying is that the Gamecube offers Nintendo's best and most popular games to evolve into the modern graphic, newer generation. And it did offer something new - the ability to play Gameboy color/advanced games on your TV. I have poor eyesight so trying to see an SP was hard so when I got a GameBoy player, I could finally enjoy Pokemon Gold and Mario Advanced.
The only thing I don't like about the GameCube is it's color selection. It's HORRIBLE. You have black, purple, and platinum. It'd be nice to have a blue one XD Other than that, I can't say there's much else that bothers me.![]()
