My cousin has had his since it first came out and has not had any problems at all. We've never had any problems with ours either. Just wondering if anyone has actually had any BAD experiences with their DS.

I have never had any problems with any of the handheld Nintendo systems and I have had almost all of them. The DS Lite is no different. The only thing is my brother often loses the styluses, but amazingly even he has not broken his DS or DS Lite except chewing styluses.
Nope, my DS has been with me for 3 years now, and it's not broken once. That thing can take a real beating, the stylus broke but I never seemed to use it anyway.
I don't believe that computer games cause violence but they add an additional amount of creativity to it. - Blanka
I don't know anything about PSPs or homebrew modding, please don't ask me about it.

I use safe guard and screen protector which has protected it till now. The most delicate thing is my stylus which keeps on breaking and i have to get a new one everytime.
mine has semi-broken you dont have to touch the screen and objects move on there own. It doesnt do this all the time.I haven't really looked to see howe to fix it anyone else have this problem?
Nope. Not only has my DS not broken but I've never had any of my Nintendo handhelds or system break. I guess the closest would be the one dead pixel on my DS screen.
Nah. Never. Once I thought mine had a problem because the screen wasn't sensitive to my stylus but I just had to recalibrate it.
And I'd like to agree with other posts as well. All of Nintendo's systems and even some of their games are highly stable both physically and virtually. I used to use an Action Replay ALOT and some of my games corrupted from excessive use but Mario Sunshine for Gamecube never broke! What's more; even with codes I couldn't find hardly any soft spots in the game! MAN that's sturdy. Zelda Wind Waker started to freeze up a little. That's when I stopped using AR but my DS has been dropped, slammed, lost, stepped on once, and even flung against the wall when I was tired and angry at it. Never broke.
my top screen is hanging of my ds by a little cord and it still works
