Just wondering if anyone can recommend a new game release that you have actually played and can recommend? I am anxiously awaiting Guitar Hero, but until then would like to try a few more.

Not exactly a new release, but the Castlevania games, Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, are well worth getting. Dawn is pretty easy but Portrait is quite challenging, and one of my favorite games of all time.

Thanks Dartz. I actually heard of Portrait from someone else but didn't think he really knew :-). I will give that one a shot.

Yes, thank you for the suggestion after a few recent purchases I vow to not buy anymore games unless they are recommended by someone. Some of these games are a waste of money though the actual system I love.

Simply, I 100% agree, and this especially goes for the young kid games. Even though they may look good on the cover, I definitely suggest getting some opinions from people who have played and tested them first. |

Absolutely. The latest games aren't really fun to play, although they're very nice to look at. Personally I recommend Neverwinter Nights Diamond. It's really cheap (I got mine for $15), the graphics are good, the atmospherics are superb, the story is top-notch, and the game goes on almost forever. And even after it's done there are lots of user-made extensions to try out |

I want a DS so I could play all the re-released SNES and N64 games on it. Sooo much fun to replay Mario 64 on the go! Unfortunately, for new releases I'd prefer to have a PSP. |

The World Ends with You is a really good one, brand new and completely fresh. Seems that a lot of Squares best games don't start with Final or end in Fantasy eh?

Dear All: Somebody suggested World Ends with You, but I really don't understand the premise. Question: What type of game is it? 2) How difficult is it? Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!! Sincerely yours always, Indy.
