Thread: wireless DS play

Has anyone tried playing wirelessly with thier DS with several other people, I 'm wondering what sort of performance one can expect. thanks

The performance is excellent if you're all within distance of each other, but not too close and with little interference.

It runs like a LAN game with good computers, there is a bit of slowdown on a few titles, but nothing that makes the game difficult or unplayable.

Nice one cheers man, I'm going to pick another one up for the kids are was more than curious how it would play. Is it right that only the host needs the games and the clients pull the components needed to play the game to them?

Its fun when you have someone in proximity. When people come over to my house, its easy since my home is a wi-fi hotspot.

For a lot of games, yes.

My boyfriend and I play against each other on our DS. We love it. It's a lot of fun...we play when we are in different rooms and send one another messages. It's great haha.

For some games, everyone needs a cart to run a multiplayer game, it says on the back of the box if it needs multiple carts or note.
