Thread: Stolen DS

God forbid I see a person that stole a DS from me or from a child around the holidays. I would in jail right along with them. Sorry to hear about that. But just remember, what goes around comes around.

I regret very much that your Nintendo DS was stolen and in plain daylight, at that. That's the sad thing about going out and leaving cars parked anywhere; perps who know how to defeat anti-theft devices lurk everywhere and will, if they see a lucrative item to steal, get into a car somehow and take whatever they want.

I suggest one thing: Next time you buy a DS, get someone with an engraving tool and have them carefully engrave an ID number or your name on it, then if it gets stolen, you can call the cops and report it.

You should still try and call the cops, even though it's a bit late now.

Thanks all for the replies. Yeah, we did report it to the cops but nothing as of yet. I went and got another. I am amazed at how easy it was to find it this time, as last time I looked just about everywhere then happened to luck out at the last minute.

Well it is definitely not safe anymore to keep our valuables with us without getting them insured. I am sure that insurance companies have some policy regarding household things too.

SOmebody stole my ds at high school i got every body involed of finding it next month i saw my classmate playing with it i took it back from him

Hopefully the new one won't get stolen, but just in case, mark it in some non-damaging but still identifiable fashion. That way, it can make a would-be thief a bit more wary about taking it.

She finally has a new red DS to replace the stolen one, and this time that thing will never be left alone . I actually like the red color a bit better too, and there are always skins to change the color if she gets bored with red. Btw, thanks all for the replies.
