Thread: Cooking Mama

We bought this one for my daughter and it has to be the most boring game ever. Has anyone else ever played this? I played it for about 10 minutes and couldn't stand it. Am I not giving it enough time? I am thinking about trading it in for something else..ANYTHING else.

I have to agree with you on this one. I have seen it and am not sure why anyone would like to play it either. Does your kid like it though.

Nope, she didn't like it all. Since we bought it at Gamestop we just took it back and got another .

Yea personally for me...If a game doesn't get my attention within the first 5 minutes, its not worth my time at all. Good thing on gamestop's return policy eh? lol.

Definitely ! That is exactly why I buy from Game Stop. You can buy used games there for a cheaper price and can return them within 7 days for a full refund if you don't like them. I agree with you; I pretty much know right away if I am going to like the game or not. This one was just horrible to me. The funny thing is that it got good reviews on Amazon. I should have asked in here first because listening to Amazon!

I wish I could say something more about it, but the fact that it just looked so incredibly stupid made me not even try it. I hate to cook as is, why would I want to play a game where all you do is cook? I'm sure there are others that may enjoy something like this, but its not for me.
