Thread: best character in street fighter

My favorite street fighter character is Sakura. I think she is young cute, and kool.
Who is your favourite character in street fighter? and why?

I have not played Street Fighter in a while, but my favorite character (when I was playing) was Ryu. I think he was the most balanced character among all.

Yea I second that. Ryu was one of the characters that you could bank upon to win. He was someone full of energy to fight and rule.

i played street fighter before. and i also have watched it. i think Ryu is the best player. i have not seen the new street fighter game. is it quite the same with the classic one?

I say its Blanka and Guile. These two are the ones that I have always used and my friends find it ver hard to defeat me when I am using either one of these characters.

I kinda liked the green monster with the electric shock ability and the sort of MK Kano rolling thing. Was that guy's name Blanka or am I talking a different game here?
