Hi fellow members and Gameforum,
I've been thinking and thought that a Torrent Search on www.thegameforum.com would be a great idea! You could add game files, pictures, movies, music, program files, etc. so that the Member of this site could download and you will have to be a member to download. Also if Members of this site could add files to the Torrent Search that would be nice.

Think about it please, I think its a kool idea. Anyone else who likes this idea please reply!!!

That does sound like a great idea but how exactly would it work?
Would it search BitTorrent for the file or torrents that people submit? If the second, then there would be some legal issues that may be associated I am afraid.

As to the poster above, yes, you are lame. For the topic, a torrent search on here would be a good idea to share things (that are legal, not illegal).

I think it would be better if only games will be available for torrent downloads. This is a game forum and for sure people who come here would like to search for games.

If this site does start a Torrent Search thanks surfville for going to share your games. And cirereyes that is true that we should only have game files on this site if there is going to be a Torrent Search but it would be cool if we also got movies, pics, and programs. (they could be game related. Pics of games and wallpaper of games. Movies of games and trailers of them and programs for switching games region and stuff like that)

I have to say I'm pretty surprised that this forum allows posts on this topic and would consider allowing a torrent search/upload. Most forum hosts would shut you down in a heartbeat for it.

Thats because this forum is the best. The admin gameforum allows us to do stuff like this. (illegal or not) and the topic asks us to think of what we should have on this forum and what i said is actually a great idea!

What i meant by in the above post "(illegal or not)" is that we talk about modding. We have torrents of games. and we even talk about how to hack stuff.
