Thread: Games you regret buying

  1. Games you regret buying

I regret buying Devil May Cry 2, it was a fun game, but it just got completely repetitive. The swords were all the same, DT was near-useless, and Dante went from a wise-cracking smartass to an emo with no real reason to do anything.

That, and the game can be summed up as "Hold down □ to win."

I don't know anything about PSPs or homebrew modding, please don't ask me about it.

  2. The only thing that comes to my mind that I regret buying is those games that don’t work at all. I like buying those pirated copy because it’s cheaper.

  3. I guess same as Postman but they don't even sell the original CD's here only the pirate copies. Actually I regret generally buying games because now you can download them all for free, to bad I didn't have internet back then

  4. Final Fantasy VII. Loved it so much, and God knows how many wasted years I spent playing the next 5 of them. Final Fantasy. HAH!! Where's the FINAL one already?! Release me from this addiction!! :-)

Yeah I regret buying games in the earlier days around 6-7 years ago when I didn't have high speed internet.

I bought quite a few original games back then and the ones I regret are Sim Safari(dunno why I bought it because I had no idea about the game), Cricket 2000 because it was exactly similar to Cricket 99 and Flight Simulator because I thought it would be a more interesting game.

  6. Flight Simulator really confused me the first time I played it. So many controls I had to learn, and so much I had to monitor. That was the first game I can remember really STRUGGLING to play -- and I never did land a single mail-plane, I don't think.

Heh, the reason the series is known as Final Fantasy, is because Square thought that the first one would be the last game they would ever release due to money troubles, but the game struck gold and made them an absolute fortune.

I never even heard of the first 6, nor did I ever play them. Do you have details or videos of the games you can point me to?

  9. The game I regret buying 4 years ago was the Legend Of Kane, It is a good game but it's minimum hardware requirements was just too high at that time.

  10. Red Steel for Wii
