| Hi, everyone. Because I'm perhaps an older member, I still remember a time when there were no video game consoles for home use, and I STILL recall how excited everyone was when PONG first came out in the late 1970s. Although I don't own a gaming console now - which is why I post mainly in the PC threads - I did own a Coleco Gemini, which was a knock off of the Atari 2600 and could play Atari 2600 games. I had quite a few games - Donkey Kong, Polaris, Chopper Command, Return of the Jedi, and Star Wars: The Arcade Game - and until I started college, I played every day. I still have my cartridges somewhere, but obviously since the connection jacks are old school, I can't adapt the console to use with my newer TV. How about the rest of you guys (and gals!)? Any Atari 2600/5200 vets out there? |
