Thread: Soundtrack Add-ons for Guitar Hero 3

Hey guitar hero gamers, I was just playing my Guitar Hero 3 for PS3, and Ive probably clocked at least eight or nine hours so far, so Im pretty decent at the game so far. I just finished Easy mode and already passed medium a few days ago, so Ive played alot of songs over and over, and that what I think is the only downside of Guitar Hero 3 and every other one. It gets boring after playing the same songs over, and over and over again, even if you havent managed to get 100 % on one specific song, I still find the same old songs over and over get boring. So I had a great idea, in which I definitely think should happen, and in the near future probably will happen.


Bonus Soundtrack's: Say that on Guitar Hero 3, you wanted to play one of your favorite songs, but it's not included in the given soundtrack of all 74 songs. Now say, you walked into your local EB games and saw a rack of different Guitar Hero 3 "Bonus Soundtrack" disc's that add onto your Guitar Hero 3 soundtrack. Basically, you choose a certain band, soundtrack and pop it in your console and download!. It would be great, and hopefully hit stores sometime in the next guitar hero millenium!

That would be great, but I think there are a lot of licensing issues to overcome. I'm not a huge fan of Guitar Hero. Everytime they come out with a new one, it butchers a song I like. I'll listen to it, and my friends will pounce quickly.. "OMGZZ Thatz FROM GUITAR HERO!!11" ..Like the song didn't exist before the game.
