Have you ever bought a videogame and thought "man, the box art/cover could have been cooler"?. I have, multiple games actually. And the thing is, box art is such an important factor in a videogame, at least on the case anyway. Without a cool boxart/cover, people wont even think about buying the game. You might not think its true but come on. Have you ever seen a videogame at a store, never heard of it before and only decided to look at it because the cover looked cool? Ive done it before. I never would have looked at Assassins Creed if the cover didnt look cool. I know it sounds stupid but its thats that. Anyways, heres a site with some extremely talented and very good computer graphic artists. www.vgboxart.com It stands for videogame box art, and I gotta say that this is one heck of a site. Basically, it is filled with almost every single videogame's box art, remade and redesigned by people like us , who are extremely talented with graphic design. I recommend you check this site out, you will find some amazing box art covers that could have definitely replaced actual games box art.

Thanks for posting this. I love graphic art, and dabble in it a little myself. I never knew that there was a place like this. I've been looking around the site and there are some really talented people there. Thanks again for the post.

No problem, if you ever need any help finding certain stuff on the net, just let me know and Ill find it for you. Its really great that you enjoy computer and graphic art and designing, I really like some of the stuff people have done on www.vgboxart.com, I think most of the art on there for videogames are ten times as better as the actual created ones that were used by the creators of the videogames.

Huh, they have a site for everything, don't they. You're right, these people are talented. I thought these were official cover art, to be honest. They should focus their skills on original material though.. they could go far. |

I didn't know the internet even have a box art for games until I come upon this thread. You all are really talented artists there. I like the one on Battlestar Galactica under the movie platform. Keep up the good work and bravo! |
