Out of curiosity, I would like to hear what you guys want in the next big game console. Give me details such as features you like or dislike, what you want to be able to accomplish and anything else that you really would like to see combined into one console.

It's hard to say what I would want next. I mean I guess you could push graphics a bit further, being able to put a ton of content on the screen without slowing it down, maybe the ability to play against people who own a different console brand than the one you own.

I'd love to have a decent console shooting game in the vein of Duck Hunt. The Wii Zapper is the closest I've seen.

I agree being able to play against people using different consoles would be awesome but also there seem to be quite a few little quirks I keep hearing about (luckily haven't experienced ...yet) in a lot of the new systems that need to be omitted.

I expect a great console by sony or microsoft. I want a full backward compatibility in it along with crystal clear graphics, better controls and online support.

Better and more game support. As for the console itself, I expect them to keep coming up with new controller designs. A console easily upgradeable to full backward compatability is a great idea as you want to play as much as possible all games you own but still have the choice of the upgrade so you won't be paying for something you won't be using anyway.

I think it would be from the sony's stable. Although Microsoft makes niche products but I see Sony packs more punch in its products. So it should be a tough fight, to go on top.

I too think that sony would deliver something revolutionary (technology wise) and i hope this time users would get what the sony would claim and there would be no issues after the sale of the console.

I hope another monster from Sony's stable, And possibly they launch it on time unlike PS3 due to which they lost many consumers to xBox 360 and wii and some even loyal Ones too. As of now Sony is the way to go with consoles.

I have big expectations from sony. I have always been a fan of sony, i want a console with better graphics, gameplay and online support.

i wouldn't say Sony is the way to go, each console has its own ups and downs. Although I am a Sony fan....been one for as long as i can remember
