It's very difficult to conclude what would be next big game. In this period of technology nothing can be predict. It's possible to bring a new version game console or totally new It may be possible that all video games are saturate after few years.

Whats barbaric about it? PC and console cross-platform gameing has already been tossed around and even tried with both 360 and PS3. I guess you think multiplat games are barbaric as well. how could it be anything but fun for us to sit dont infront of our respective systems and hash out who is better say COD4 or any number of outher games. I would win.

It's been tossed around, but never attempted. You must be retarded if you think anywhere in my post I said I thought multiplatform games are barbaric. Sony and Microsoft will not co-operate together, so they won't make a game that supports online for either system. IT'S CALLED THE COMPETITIVE MARKET FOR A REASON.

Sure its a competitive market but it would be cool to have a team of PS3 guys fighting Xbox guys in a 1st. or 3rd. person shooter. There would be tournaments and battles galore I think...Then console builders would have to make sure that there machine can perform just as well as the others or close to it.

also I can see the console world going to total Download of games and content with options to order the Hardcopy of a game at your game store...This may make consoles cheaper as the overhead of packaging and shipping will have a huge drop for the company. And once purchased online the game can be downloaded at any time just incase of hard drive loss.

I guess in my opinion I just would like to see the prices be better at release..thats my idea...lol
