Thread: Why the original XBOX sucks...

The thing was HUGE!? Do you all remember the sheer size of that thing? It wouldn't fit anywhere in a TV stand! And the controller it launched with? Equally as huge! Fit for a gorilla... they finally made the right move and switched to the "S" controller as the main one.

XBOX was lucky it wasn't a total flop.

Like the original Zune, Microsoft seems to need a version one to send out and get wrong.

Luckily, like the new Zune, the new Xbox is dead sexy and very awesome in every way.

How does the XYZ dimensions of a console determine how bad it is? You saying that this 13lbs computer I'm using sucks? Like Hell it does. XD

It wasn't aestetically pleasing to be honest. It was just .... there. It weighted a ton and it didn't fit in alot of entertainment centers like John said.

Luckily, it seemed like if you ever needed to drop it from a high distance, it looked like it would survive.

Without Halo the original XBOX would have stopped production quicker than the Dreamcast. I actually found great use for the XBOX. Since it wouldn't fit into the entertainment center, I just set my TV ontop of the XBOX and used it like an entertainment center.

I have an original xbox, and a 360, I tried to store the original it somewhere, but I couldn't. When it was in use, it would just stick out of my TV set and stand out like nothing was even on the TV set. Although I had the greatest times with Halo 1 and 2, I had to move on to the 360. Way better, total domination vs. the original xbox.

I think they made a really intelligent decision by providing controller s. If it had had no good games, i dont think it would have survived.

Microsoft does its things in a sassy way. A good console combined with good games and best part both of them made by same Company. What else do you need? Made for each other combos.
