After I saw that other thread, I simply had to create a clone of it for the Odyssey 2001.

Here's why I think the Philips Odyssey 2001 is still the best :

1. No cartridges to replace : there's no real need, necessity (or even possibility !) of inserting and removing game cartridges. This saves gamers a ton of money and makes it a true "plug and play" system

2. Graphics: graphics are ulta-sharp and will work anywhere, from the smallest monochrome TV sets to the highest-end HDTV models

4: The paddle : The paddle is the ultimate game controller. There's no buttons, no d-pads, nothing, just a round, smooth controller. In this it becomes very like an offline game, where and how you hit the controller decides where and how fast the ball goes. It's truly a game of skill, where timing, pressure and direction counts.

5. It's incredibly durable : it's just an oversized plastic box with a small circuit board attached to it. If you drop it, nothing happens. Don't try that with a PS3 or Xbox360 though

It's supremely portable : it's full-size, but it's very, very light, you can carry it anywhere

Now who's gonna argue with that ?

Lmao, the Phillips Odyssey 2001 really is the best... Everyone throw away your PS2/3's, Xbox's, Gamecubes, Wii's... Hell, throw away your PC too. Nothing else compares.

Keep your Super Nintendo. Because it owns.
