Can Mouse be ever replicated or replaced by gamepads? I don't think so. Mouse provide so much precision to any game that they can never be replaced by a gamepad, of any sort. What do you say?

The mouse control is one reason most RPG and strategy games (like Diablo, Starcraft, C&C, AoE,..) are best left to PC. To be fair though, it works both ways. I don't think the mouse could replace game controllers either.

And what about FPS games, never ever a FPS has been more accurate for with a mouse. I just can't imagine to play a FPS game on a console, where is the precision.
I actually preferred the keyboard over the mouse before when playing FPS games like Duke Nukem and Doom and did better than my mouse using friends to be honest. It's not later that I switched to the mouse.

Yes, these games are better enjoyed using a mouse. a joystck could never replace a mouse. The gamers wont change their game playing habbits so quickly.
I love pc gaming because i have better control using a mouse. Most of people find mouse more comfortable so i dont think gamepads can replace mouse.
Froix, I think you can never play any multiplayer with just keyboard. Mouse gives so much variations that even keyboard or gamepads can ever cope up. As far as single player gaming is concerned you an make up with keyboard.
Yeah, the joystick doesn't really match the mouse...
Like if you were doing a shooter for example, and someone's behind you:
A. For mouse, you could quickly turn around and shoot the guy
B. With the joystick, you'd slowly turn 360 degrees only to get owned
