Outselling Xbox, the Nintendo Wii looks to be leading consoles in US. Stats current as of mid of July. Don't have the current stats but I won't be surprised if Wii stayed on top.

I think people are preferring a wii over xbox because there are some problems associated with it and if we compare it with ps3, wii is comparatively cheaper.

Yeah the main factor seems to be affordability. Secondly, Wii offers one thing that Xbox 360 most certainly does not, a remote controller that is special because of its use of motion detection technology.

Wii has two main advantages, firstly the cost which is a major one and secondly they offer something intuitive which has not been the case with the Xbox or PS3 for that matter.

Yeah nintendo wii is the most popular console among kids. Parents also enjoy playing games on it but its not the perfect choice for hardcore gamers.

nintendo is the best system on the market right now,it has showed us that,it can handle with the best of them.the power might not be the best,but the gameplay,is on point.

Its actually a Family material as princee pointed out. You can get it cheap and enjoy with the whole family, sow hat else would you need with a console. The best part was that it was launched cheap, and is still cheaper.
