Thread: Best family friendly console

I think Nintendo Wii is great for families and groups. If you prefer intense first-person-shooter games or epic fantasy gaming, you'll be happier with an Xbox 360. But the Nintendo is more of a crowd-pleaser.

I think that Playstation still holds that spot. Both my nephew and my brother in-law like to play Playstation. I’m just playing on the computer but am considering of buying one, maybe next year.

I see The Playstation and Xbox as more for hardcore gamers. Nintendo in games is like Disney in movies. Nintendo games are a bit more toned down. I'll agree it's the more family friendly console but as for crowd pleaser it depends on the crowd.

I agree with Froix. What about a game of golf or tennis with your family members right inside your living room. Not just nice but made for families stuff.

Yes, wii is the most family friendly console. It may not be best for hardcore gamers but I've seen girls, old people, adults and various other groups jump on playing a WII.

Nintendo consoles have always been more family-friendly than others. In terms of which console is the LEAST family-friendly, the title goes to Xbox. Playstation falls somewhere inbetween the two.

Nintendo Wii for sure nowadays, especially with Wii Fitness
