Default I miss the oversized joystick.

Seriously, who doesn't miss the games that had only an oversized joystick for controls? They were so simple... so elegant. I also don't mind when they added a couple of two buttons. Mashing them in conjunction with swinging the joystick was a wild ride that never should have ended.

Modern controllers have 14+ buttons and functions. I'd say we go back to <3.

The CX2600 had a joystick like that. It was literally a stick, and it had only one red button What I really miss though is the paddle. that was ultimate elegance, you don't get more elegant than one smooth round controller

Sometimes I find using joystick is inconvenient as it is very difficult to control. It depends on what type of game you are playing. If it is some arcade shooting game, then it is OK. But for car racing, I personally fine it quite difficult to navigate the racing car in time to avoid any crashes.

yea i missed the large joystick with a 6 buttons for street fighter, it just isn't complete without playing with those joysticks and smashing the buttons that make loud clicking noises again...memories....
