Thread: The Atari Lynx, a great system ruined by bad decisions

The Atari Lynx was one of the first handheld games to have color and good sound. Unfortunately, it suffered from some seriously bad decision-making. First, they removed the thumbstick (but why ?), and then they priced it at $189. And then the made it so that when you held it, half of your right hand covered the speaker :P

Imagine if the Lynx was properly designed, and had better support, how different the handheld gaming scene would be today.

I've never played one, but it seems like from what I've read the Lynx could have been great, with a couple of changes, but never really took off. I didn't even know an Atari handheld existed until I read about it!

I have two of the Version 1 and three of the Version 2. These were designed very good as I still play with one regularly. The other ones are for my collection.

I also have some collections,but not these versions.
