The Atari Lynx was one of the first handheld games to have color and good sound. Unfortunately, it suffered from some seriously bad decision-making. First, they removed the thumbstick (but why ?), and then they priced it at $189. And then the made it so that when you held it, half of your right hand covered the speaker :P Imagine if the Lynx was properly designed, and had better support, how different the handheld gaming scene would be today. |

I've never played one, but it seems like from what I've read the Lynx could have been great, with a couple of changes, but never really took off. I didn't even know an Atari handheld existed until I read about it!
